I designed and built this site in Webflow, working with Claude, an AI assistant connected to Webflow through MCP.
The building went fast. Structure, styles, page assembly, all of it quicker than I could have done by hand. What didn't go fast was working out what was true.
Most of my job here was saying no. One draft had me rebuilding a company's entire web presence "alone," which makes me sound like someone who doesn't work well with others. I had a marketing team to write the copy and provide feedback. Another draft said I filmed a video at a trade show I wasn't even at; a teammate shot it on the floor and sent it to me to edit. Twice I found a block of lorem ipsum sitting in what I'd been told was finished copy.
Fast tools produce more first drafts. They don't tell you which ones are wrong. Or good.
